The School

Metrocultura - Estudiantes 05

Metrocultura is a welcoming Spanish school in the center of Barcelona. Their aim is that the students learn quickly and effectively, in the most enjoyable and pleasant way.

The classes are taught in small groups by friendly qualified native teachers. All of them have a University degree, a recognized teaching certificate and wide professional experience. The small class sizes, up to 8 people, provide students the opportunity to fully participate in all the activities. This also allows teachers to interact more individually with every student, ensuring that no question is left unanswered.

The school was founded in 1986. They offer expertise and quality teaching along with some of the tightest prices in Barcelona.

Courses

The courses are offered throughout the year and most last from 1 week onwards. Each lesson is 45 minutes long. Please, check Metrocultura courses.

About Barcelona

Barcelona is considered a global city due to it’s cultural and economic influence, as well as its popular sports (especially football) and music. When Barcelonans go out at night, they really mean night; restaurants and bars are busiest around 10pm and most clubs do not warm up until around 2am, so if you are heading out, expect to be late, or early, returning to bed.

Barcelona has many student neighbourhoods, the cheapest student areas to live in are Sant Antoni, Raval, Born, Gotic, Gracia, Poble Sec. Rent will increase in areas such as Eixample, Les Corts, Sagrada familia, Sants, Sarria, Sant Gervasi… it all depends on budget. Rooms in Barcelona start from around 300€ per month with bills included.
